The Unique Brouwersgracht Loft Design
This is a loft design of Remco Wilcke of Cube Architecten and co, they designed a unique loft located in the historic warehouse in downtown Amsterdam, When they found the monument was still used as a warehouse, as two long, dark room that is separate from 100 square feet each. They bought the place and hoped the council would let them change the status to which they do after all the plans submitted. So in 2008 the old barn has been completely transformed into a luxury loft 200 square meters.
Wall between two rooms have been opened, and in contrast the architecture has been sought between preserving the historic beams and floors, and new addition of a minimalist. The new additions such as kitchens and bathrooms will be clearly identified as such in terms of material and form. Because it is a space and relatively low, and let the daylight in because it is very important, open floor plan selected.
